I learned as a young punk skateboarding that its best to curl into a ball and roll with it. But, that was decades ago and I'm older and fatter these days, so when I try that it knocks the wind out of me, shakes and puts a dent in the ground, and hurts real bad. At my age of 48, I should quit skateboarding and think in terms of a rocking chair...NO WAY!!! Aint nothing like doing toe-taps and spins up on a barn roof, except if get too close to the edge, and then its..."Whoa, whoa, whoa..." splat "Ouch that hurt again, that sure was a stupid place for me to park the tractor, OUCH".

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet).
