Which gas is best...

Was curious what octane everyone runs in their old tractors? My old pickup runs like shirt on the low octane stuff, runs like a champ on the expensive stuff (wouldn't you know it). I figured the old tractors weren't used to real good gas, but was wondering what every one else had found...especially at these prices!
