sold an s10 4x4 to a fellow last sat 1000.00 let him take truck so he and buddy would not have to drive back I had to go to his town this am any way to finish the deal and rest of cash. truck has 112k. gas guage sticks sometimes for a minute or tow always shows correct in a minuts He said this am some one told him the fuel pump is going out or it wouldnt have guage sticking Now fuel sender and pump in tank are SEPERATE on this year. I finally knocked off 300 of total He is putting a perfectly good running truck in gm garage for 800.00 dollar replacment of pump and guage sending unit!!! I said little garage 4 miles away is known for good work and lots cheaper that $80.00 per hour and pump is MUCH cheaper at naPA NO he said had to be gm parts and gm mechanic. I got cash signed title and wished him good luck , He wasnt trying to be underhanded just thought his buddy knew pump was going . Checked fuel pressure and was right up to speck Go figure
