Robbie, Mongo and Bill are right. If you're pulling something that will move you've got a chance, but stumps or big rocks that might get hung up are SUPER dangerous. You hook onto something what won't move your power works to make your wheels the pivot point for the whole tractor, and up and over she goes. I've worked with the wheel method. I've got old iron wheel thats good and tough, hook the chain low on the tree, over the wheel and to the drawbar. Take up the slack REALLY slow. Super M will pull up 4" trees in spring pretty easy. I also only work in spring. Ground is soft and trees move easier, tractor slips easier too. If it won't move at first, cut and dig, pull again, cut and dig. Keep that going and you can take out any tree! Just might take a few days.
