Had a guy say today that if you crank an engine backwards (trans in forward gear and roll backwards to start), it'll start, run and ruin in short order. Is this even possible that it would run???? I've seen old electric motors that you had to give a helper spin to that would run either direction, but an IC engine????? The guy that said it is the local expert and you never know if he's BSing or not.
