Used to be a 13006 in the township along with half a dozen others (up to DX series) and never heard of any serious reliability issues on the brand. Comments I've heard from the owners are keep engine area clean (air cooled) and parts tend to be quite a bit more expensive on repair jobs. Have heard opinions they are not as durable if used continually under heavyload (don't know if that is true) as most North American tractors. Would not be afraid just because it is a Deutz. I guess it comes down to money. If you're looking at around close to 10G, I would also look at White or Ford TW. It will not be the prettiest and you may have to work the auctions hard but you might be looking at a better parts/resale picture down the road. Do you have the skill/ patience for a project tractor. Seen some good buys that the major components are good but does need some minor attention. Maybe somebody else might know some possibilities I have not thought of.
