Looking at a Deutz 13006 tractor to do some heavy tillage work -- I farm about 300 acres and am looking for a better heavy tillage tractor than my AC 7000. My AC will do most of the planting, spraying but I'm looking for an extra 30-40 hp to handle my chisel plow without over working the tractor and give me a good 2nd tractor. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these as there is one advertised locally and its a lot less (1/2) than a comparable US made tractor. It has 4wd. I have an old AC/Deutz dealer 10 mi away that can get parts. I've always had the odd ball equipment in the neighborhood -- am I going to far?
