Any poultry farmers here? I've long thought I wouldn't mind having a few chicken houses. After some recent eye problems thats making my current job difficult to say the least it may be time to look harder (LOL no pun intended) at some houses.
Talked to a friend of mine this evening with 8 total houses, broilers, 4 new within the last 4 years, he says he's 35 days between sell and restock, couple years ago he couldn't get the houses ready again fast enough.
I'm still relatively young, dont mind work, dont mind being tied down, been around alot of chicken houses working on stuff for people but never actually worked the house but believe it's something I could do.
How's the market where you are? And what do you forsee in the future?
