I don't want to seem holier than though but wanted to correct a few statements made in this thread.
1. The cause for the possible delay is more than just 6 million people are not ready. It has to do with the $40 voucher program. All of the coupons have been given out and there is no more money to fund the program. It was underestimated how many people would need one. Some of the coupons are expiring rather than being used but the government needs to wait to see how much cash isn't used before it can send out more coupons.
2. There is nothing that you need to do on a roof. All the people that tell you that your existing antenna is not able to be used are full of crap. All 90+ percent of people need to do is buy a convertor box and put it between the wall and the tv or vcr. That is it. No action on the roof. I have 2 of them in my house now.
