and that is why it only goes up. no way a city,county or a state and fed need to pay large sums of money for what is an idiot job. I have done it in my youth and it was only min wage full time and rightly so. with everyone saying they work their butts of so deserve more money. I suggest you try that on your private sector boss and see how it goes. hell they get raises because other cities in other parts of the state pay higher so they have to be brought up to speed. tho they do not have to pay the actual higher cost of living there but get to collect the increase. we in iowa have a population of roughly 3 million yet at just the state level they need over six BILLION dollars to waste.
