I have attempted to pull my semimount 10 feet Bushog brand rotary cutter with my 574 IH 52 HP fully weighted (front and rear) tractor. I was able to power the rotary cutter but I was not able to handle it as safely as I would like on hilly ground. I feel that 40 HP could handle a pull type cutter in the 8 feet dimension far better than it could handle a 10 feet width machine.
