Ive followed this post and was just wondering why a resisitor like used on a tractor couldnt be used at the lights themselves and at the power supply for the signal lights?I mean we use them to drop from 12 volts down to 6 so why coulnt one be used to drop from 24 to 12.Seems like a simple cheap fix to me.Or has someone else said that and I missed it?We used one to drop the voltage on the headlights on my Dads old `141 IH combine.
