I know there are different classes of hitches. I have a Fordson super major. I came across an old FORD SINGLE PLOW AND BOUGHT IT. NOW, THE PROBLEM IS THE BARS-PINS ON THE PLOW ARE WAY TOO NARROW AND DON'T PROTRUDE FAR ENOUGH TO GET FAR ENOUGH THROUGH THE BALLS ON THE 3 POINT ON THE FSM. (SORRY ABOUT SHOUTING, JUST SAW CAPS WERE LOCKED. I think I can get smaller balls at tractor supply that will fit the older pins. These are not actually pins, rather where they ground down the end of the rods. Can someone please tell me about catagory sizes? Is cat1 the smallest and the cat 3 the largest? Does anyone have lenghts and diamiter of such? Are the littli tin straps what bhold the pin into the arm> If I break off one of those tins am I in DEEP bovine excrement?
