You must have been in the line of fire to get sprayed with oil. Safety glasses are good but if a big piece flew out, they wouldn't help much. You had to have been pumping extremely hard on the jack to go over maximum capacity. There are thousands of older tractors still on the job. Not everybody has $100,000+ to spend on a new tractor or can afford the $100+/hr. labour rates to fix them when the electronics or something else goes bad. There are lots of good used tractors available that have nice cabs and all the amenities for way cheaper than new ones. Dave
