I have a Crary "Bearcat" PTO driven chipper on my John deere 650 compact tractor. does an excellent job,but the first thing that wears out is the operator. Would have gotten a power feed, but did not have enough horsepower to pull it and the chipper too. The machine is very useful , but with out power feed you have to practically force any limbs with branches on them down the throat to the knives. The 120# flywheel with the knives on it keeps the chipper going and doesn't die down quite as bad as one with a light knife holder would.
