I have a 3-point 5' rotary mower (Bush hog type) and a 6' finish mower, both King Kutter brands. I've only had them about two years, but I have no complaints. They've held up well. You are correct, they are lighter duty models (and the paint jobs are terrible), but I figured I could buy new ones in a few years and still be ahead over a bush Hog brand.

I am very careful with my equipment (I don't hit rocks, stumps) and I take time to walk the places I'm gonna mow, and check for stuff before Hoggin'.

I'd buy them both again.
