I need to purchase a new medium duty rotary cutter in 6" wide, 3 point type. I"m torn between these two machines: John Deere MX6 and Land Price RC2672. Both are about the same money, both sold by local John Deere dealer. Both rated for cutting up to 2" brush. The Deere is gearbox rated for 70 continues HP and 90 peak, where the Land pride I think is rated up to 110 HP tractor. I also notice the Land Pride has a Ansi4 driveline where the Deere is Ansi3. Also, looks like the Land Pride has a 4 disk slip clutch and the Deere has a 2 disc. This mower will be behind a John Deere 5320 utility tractor, I think rated at about 67HP. At first glance it appears the Land Pride maybe a little heavier built. Any experiences with these? Which one would you purchase? Thanks

After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
