Ken, you made me grin on that one. Made me think about the time I sat out there in the doorway of the shop and put 21 patches on an old 9N front tube before I threw it away and went and bought a new tire and tube. Don't seem like it should take that many tries till a man comes back to his senses (grin). I bought a gallon of the tire sealant too,($35) cause I was humiliated and mad by then. The best use for it has been on the riding mower front rims. Put it on the rim and tire bead and then inflate the tire and those leaky tires go away. By the way, how do you get the tire to take air when the tire is off the bead? I tried using the 1" nylon ratchet strap and I'm afraid it'll pop it and tattoo my chin.I guess the fastest way (and dangerous) is the way the truckers do it, with a small squirt of ether (starting fluid) and light a match to it. You guys reading this BE CAREFUL on this one because you are using a small controlled explosion. Rather too little than too much! Probably be better to take it and the sealant to the local tire shop. L8R----Fred
