Tried searching the site, but didn't come up with what I wanted. Have a couple of seldom used gas engines, and kind of got crossed up on whether I had treated the gas with Stabil or not, so now they are varnished up. Someone on here awhile back said you could add either acetone or MEK (methyl ethyl ketone) and it would migrate through the line to the carb and free it up, without having to remove or disassemble (presumably after draining and replacing the bad gas from the tank). Anybody remember what it was?
And how about Stabil- heard some disparaging remarks on here about it- are some other products better? Thanks- Mike
