My initial thought was to design something that you could lower the blade onto while still on the tractor that would allow you to spin the blade around. After reading the other posts it sounds like you do have a roll pin missing. It would be best to see if a pin is missing. If this is not the case then I would suggest that you go to the junk yard and get a front spindle and brake drum from an old car. Weld the spindle to a plate so that the spindle can sit perpendicular to the ground. Then mount the brake drum or the brake disk on the spindle. Then you could weld a piece of channel iron on the end of the drum. At this point you could lower the blade onto the channel iron, unlock it and spin it around and then lock it into the reverse position. Should be safety, wuick and dirty and cheap. Good luck and let us know what you do. Remember this is much cheaper than a trip to the emergency room.
