How does high oil pressure to the mains cause oil consumption?
Oil can only go past the rings, down the valve stems, or out thru a leak. Oil that goes thru the mains stays in the engine no matter what the pressure, so I don`t understand how higher pressure could contribute to oil consumption.
Can someone help this dumb ol boy out?
