We have a 1964 3020JD synchro with probably over 20,000 hrs. The shifting is very loose (we have a new spacer kit purchased but not installed). Tonight when i was cutting brush with the rear mount cutter i was sliding between forward and reverse i noticed that the reverse i selected was quite a bit faster than i had known in the past. After realizing that i was in the 4th and 7th gear range i realized that i had found a 3rd reverse, my dad had said that 3010's had a 3rd reverse but this baffled me as i have been operating this tractor since i was 4yrs old and have never been here before, does anyone experienced this before?
