My results in buying parts are mixed. Rarely am I satisfied with the used items. That must be due to the difference between what I perceive is of good value and that of the appraisal of the seller. I have quit buying used sight unseen. On the other hand, sellers of new parts seem to be of a different attitude. I recently bought from an internet source a new radiator , one that was no longer available from the tractor manufacturer, and I asked if it would be a direct replacement of if I would have to make it fit. The seller was not too sure but offered to accept a return if I was not satisfied. It did not fit but when I told the seller of the required modifications and asked if he would help offset the expense or did he want me to return the radiator, he graciously credited an adjustment to my bill. I buy most of my parts from Shoup and I remain a satisfied customer.
