Thanks Sounder. I didn"t know you had a Yanmar. From what I gather, this YN240 is kinda common. I asked the previous owner and he told me he used 15w45 Cl Rotella in the engine and 80 wt in the tranny. I"m not so sure if I want to use the 80wt. I think it is the same sump for the hydraulics too. It just makes sense to make sure I"m using that which the manufacturer recommends when I change it all. Another buddy with a 1500 asked me if mine was red or green. His is green and mine looks yellow, but that may just be red that has faded. The only serial number is on the left fender and it is 00922. Everything else on the decal is un-readable. BTW..I traded my 9n for this one because I need the loader from time to time and I just didn"t use the N enough to justify keeping up with the maintenance....Ron
