Hey folks,
has anyone ever seen an animal with rabies???? Reason I'm asking, there are plenty of cats running around town and one has been hanging around my place. Never was any trouble, I fed it a little and it would return the favor by delivering dead mice to the frt door. The last few days it wouldn't let me get close to it (could pick it up and pet it before). Yesterday it sh!t in the on the porch. Figured one more time and I'd take it swimming. This morning, I saw real green sh!t all over the driveway. Found the cat under a bench a couple minutes later and it ran away (staggered and kind of threw itself away). Got close again and it was breathing real raspy like pneumonia and there was a slimy white stuff coming from the nose/mouth and it was flipping out. Growling, grabbing my pant leg and trying to reach my hand. Didn't have a gun, so got ahold of it and a hammer and took care of things, but have never seen that behavior before. It got real skinny also. Had it in my hand about 2 weeks ago and it was a little chunky. Not SUPPOSED to be any rabies in this area. Any idea what it could have been?

But, on the other hand, there is a secret language that our mechanical companions readily do speak. It is an interesting form of communication that involves all the senses of the listener. In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo.
