I'm getting ready to take my tractor to the new home construction site of my daughter and son-in-laws to do dirt work, so last evening I decided I should mow around the farm since I wouldn't have the tractor home for awhile.
I hooked the brush hog style mower up, engaged the PTO and let out the clutch. I could hear a small sound that it was hitting something.
I disengaged the PTO, lifted the mower and drove forward. YIKES! There had been a skunk under the mower.
The blade must have bashed him a few time but he crawled off into tall weeds so was still alive the last I knew.
Sure glad my mower isn't Ginzu brand or I might have had smelly little pieces parts of skunk everywhere. As it was it left little odor.
