Well Arab Muslims hated me before I hated them.....Really.
The USA and the Western world made the Arabs very rich, with our money and their oil. However the backwards ideology of the Muslims is engrained in them. (basically it cannot be fixed as far as I know) As far as Isreal, that little strip of land belonged to the Isrealis before the Arabs claimed it as theirs.......Right.! (I am not pro-Jewish)
As for Europe, the USA liberated it twice last century. We freed Europe from the perils of Nazism. Yet many Europeans hate us.
I understand history very well and I have never been in the middle east (nor intend to go there) Remember that freedom of thought is limited in the middle east through oppressive governments and freedom of worship is limited cause of strict Muslim laws. Whenever freedom is restricted Christians flee or are oppressed. So tell me Mark what are the other reasons for why we are hated so much. I read a few pages of a book titled "the confessions of an economic hitman" In this book the author gives his experience of how oil companies can go into nations like Ecuador and pillage, rape, loot the land of the oil and leave a cesspool mess everywhere and the water is undrinkable for the natives, and they hate the policies and the companies that have done this. (you and I are not responsible for it) Yet Americans use the oil and are we guilty for allowing this to happen?
