Lazyhorse, you don't sound too lazy! Back in the 50's (When I was in my teens) I would work my tail off loading and then stacking baled hay in the barn for $2.00 a day. Of course there was always a chance I'd get to drive a tractor or a truck at some point in the day, too! Prior to entering my senior year, I "tied bags" on a tractor drawn combine for a couple of weeks at 75 cents an hour. That's how I got enuf money to go on the Senior class trip to Washington, D.C. with the rest of my class. When I think of some of the things I did working for some of these farmers,(it's a wonder I wasn't killed or maimed for life) I'm not sure I would want kids doing that kind of work for me in this day and age. That's if I actually owned a working farm. On the other hand, at the time, it kept me out of trouble and I always went back to school in top physical condition with a good tan.
