OK Guys just changed manifold gaskets.Tractor started right up but ran as though it was flooding.Throttled up and she purred like a kitten.Idled down and was ok increased rpms and ran for 2 min.idled down again and it quit.Would not even fire again.Pulled plugs not wet but black with light soot.Could it be my air to fuel mixture or weak spark. She is running on 12volt could my coil be getting weak? When i choke it gas comes out of carb.Told this is normal. So far we have new plugs, new cap and button, set timming as per manuel 1/4 in from mounting hole wide side of shaft key.gapped and cleaned points.Replaced gasket on carb to manafold and body to bowl.Checked float ok.Have a new coil on order.DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT MY PROBLEM IS ?
