You say it had no fire after the two minutes it ran. Did you actually verify you had no spark? Condenser is cheap and could be affected by heat. Might try that, but first verify you are getting no spark.

Gas dripping from the carb can be considered "normal" in most any gravity feed system.

Again, try the N-board. Extremely knowledgable and helpful folks! I've yet to have a problem with my 2N they couldn't solve.
