My first car was a 1981 Pontiac phoenix....A pontiac version of the Chevy Citation. I wanted to buy a 1975 Monte Carlo but my dad wouldnt let me buy it for $600, So I said Okay Dad! what am I going to drive--Are you going to give me a car? He said yes, you are going to get your mothers Phoenix. (the Phoenix had 90K miles on it when I got it)
My dad knew I would wrap that Monte Carlo around a tree. 350CI engine, 2 barrel carb, 2 door, beige, nice car. (that conversation took place in 1985)
