My first car was a 1981 Pontiac phoenix....A pontiac version of the Chevy Citation. I wanted to buy a 1975 Monte Carlo but my dad wouldnt let me buy it for $600, So I said Okay Dad! what am I going to drive--Are you going to give me a car? He said yes, you are going to get your mothers Phoenix. (the Phoenix had 90K miles on it when I got it) My dad knew I would wrap that Monte Carlo around a tree. 350CI engine, 2 barrel carb, 2 door, beige, nice car. (that conversation took place in 1985)

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
