im an ih man and our farm has been red since my grandad traded two mules for a f-12. i really like reds , but in the 1950's oliver was A LONG WAY beyond ih or jd , they were truly beyond their time . they had things other tractors dident get for years. the trans is a good one , also a WORKING DIESEL . direct start no pony motors or that other junk.i have a good friend who collects olivers so im pretty educated on them. hard to belive they went out of business if they could have stayed ih and jd would have been really hurt. (they were really ahead in the 30's and 40's)
