Last night I had my son hold the rack open part way and I cranked the engine. It started and ran, this was done with the fuel solenoid removed. If he let go of the rack the engine died. It appears like there is a problem with the govenor linkage as stated in one of the reply's. Just a note; all the fuel was drained and the tank and lines cleaned. When we had it running there was no response or change in rpm when I moved the throttle pedal, again an indication there is a problem in the govenor. Also it was white smoking very heavily. We also reconnected the fuel line to the tank and it pulled fuel and ran but only by holding the rack open. Thanks for all the replys and help. Tom
