I could use a second tractor for many power applications at our remote (no electricity) camp. So I am looking for some recommendations on good tractors to keep my eyes peeled for that might be had sort of inexpensive. I am hoping inexpensive because it would not need to have live pto for one thing, nor would it need to have much in the way of multi-speed transmission. One of the applications I would use it for is a pto sawmill so needs pretty good power, prolly diesel, prefer lower rpms for 540 pto, a big hydraulic pump would be a plus...10+gpm secondly just looking for opinions on power transmission options in terms of expense, availability of parts ease of use and set up etc. In other words...this sawmill could be run directly mechanical, electric from pto generator, or hydraulic from pto pump or tractor pump. Direct mechanical would prolly be least expensive but hardest on the tractor, electric would be simplest to set up, hydraulic would be most fun :-) thanks Kim Hartshorn
