yes the diesel will look milky when gelled. you probably need new fuel filters and more anti-gel. i wouldnt use howes as im told it doesnt work with low sulfur diesel.personally i use power service but to each his own. fill new filter full of antigell not fun on deeres glass filters. then put it on trying not to spill very much.add more antigell to the tank too. for me i use a little more than what the bottle says to. then hand prime the filter. and with all the heaters on it hopefully it will start and run. will probably run pretty rough for the first minutes but should come out of it. good luck its never fun once theyve gelled up
