Now that you have it out in the field (don't do that again-let it run for a half an hour by the barn next time) put a tarp over the whole thing and weight it down pretty good and then stick a torpedo heater in between the rear wheels. You can get that whole tractor hot to the touch given enough time. Be careful that you don't melt anything like rubber parts. While it's doing that, go get some winter diesel. We use "Arctic" diesel around here in the winter. That stuff doesn't gell until about minus 44. #1 if you can't find arctic. Get as much of that in the tank as you can. I always fill the tank on the tractor with winter diesel in November, clean and replace the filters and then use the mfg block heater and battery boost charger for starting and I've never had problems starting or gelling. Never. Short of that, you're just going to have to keep the engine running from Nov thru March. That'll work too, assuming the filters are close to the engine.
