Yeah, and when you crash into a tow-truck or a cruiser on the side of the road, after dark, on an accident scene, you'll be back on here, b*****ing and moaning that those foolish idiots shouldnt be allowed to park on the side of the road without some warning devices.
Being heavily involved with emergency vehicles, I can tell you that the lights that are on trucks are so people don't drive into them. I cant count the number of times we've been responding code to a motor vehicle accident, or emergency of some sort, only to have people not move out of our way...A few officers have told me that people "don't see" the ten thousand flashing lights in their rear-view mirrors, and "Dont hear" the sirens. Whats a person to do....you cant solve stupidity, you can only attempt to make yourself more visible to people too stupid to be behind the wheel.
