There was never a time that it took 5 dollars to buy a British pound.In the 1960s when I went to school a British pound and a dollar were almost even.It has gone down since then but this 1.62 is after it recovered a little.When GW Bush was president it was about 1.70. I looked and couldnt find anything except the dollar was devalued a lot in the 1970s.From the 1700s until 1939 there were only 3 changes,there have been nearly 140 changes of the value since then.I did find that but no graph to compare.Seems like all a person has to do is point out something like our dollar is devalued to nothing and a bunch of people think thats good?What is wrong with you?What possibly could you gain by our bankruptcy?
