My A has a cutout on top of generator. The brushes look good as well and the armature which is bright colored.
Everything looks good inside the cutout.
The light switch has the LHDB.
The problem is when its set on low it doesn't show that its putting out any amperage. When I set it to high, it will only charge about 4 amps.
QUESTION--Is there a way that I can make the generator charge at full rate by using a jumper wire? If it continues to charge at a low rate does that mean the generator is shot?
