Had a look at a truck yesterday (in Canada). It's an 08 Silverado extended cab.Fully loaded with power leather seats. There's 9000 miles showing on it and was rebuilt as it was wrote off in an accident.Had it for a drive and it handles beautifully. They showed me the before pictures. The front bumper had the plastic damaged, the driver side headlight, turning lamp and front fender was broken/wrinkled.They reaplaced it with all new parts and painted as needed all for 19 000 including 2 years warranty.I know it sounds expensive enough, but that truck without a rebuilt title up here would sell for 26-28 000 easily, replacement on one like that would be 33-35 000 with leather.I've bought vehicles from there before and looked others and have no reason to think they fixed it up half way, than took photo's for the prespective buyer to see before finishing.I've seen cars and trucks from the US before that were wrote off sometimes with little damage to them.I guess new ones must be way cheaper than they are here?
