A thing something like that didn't cost me any money just time. I was leaving Dad's drive way, this big gopher snake was crossing the drive. I had no desire to run over him so I stopped. The snake decided he would hide in my 65 VW transaxel. Now I really had a problem. If I just drove away the snake could get cooked by the mufflers, or get caught in the fan belt, or enter the blower, and get chopped into pieces. I finally teased the snake with a branch, and the snake decided to leave. The elect company may be correct if the problem was below the meter. It may be worth a try to fight it. Stan
