Well I know that eventually I will probably want a bigger tractor. I'll need to be able to dig swells in the sandy loam soil, work the road, mow the field etc. In the long run I'll want to get something with front end loader capabilities. It's just that right now I'm on a tight budget trying to get my house built. We lost our home in a fire last October and due to the weather, we're just now at the slab/rough in stage. So I've got this new 800ft driveway/road and the construction equipment will be arriving soon and no doubt tearing the road up some. I need to stay on top of it. So if I could get into something around 2k that I can use right now, I could later sell it and upgrade. Even if I had to dump it for 1500.00 on the market. I'd still not have to put out 4500-5500 bucks right now. I'd rather hang on to as much as possible. Call me skeptical but I may go over budget on the house or something somewhere along the line.
