Are you talking about the .22LR AR that is made by Ruger and Smith and Wesson or a smaller version that is for a kid?
I bought my son a pump action airsoft gun (plastic BBs) I wanted to get him the airsoft machine gun, H-K MP5........But...it was made in China and is junk. I will likely buy one of those .22LR ARs for plinking, 5 cents per bullet is cheap compared to 50 cents per round for my Real AR that shoots the .223 caliber round.
So, what did you see at that gun show? other then a mini-AR? was it packed, no room to walk? I havent been to a gun show in almost a year. Some gun shows are great, tables and tables of guns from stores/private collections/other goodies like magazines/hunting knives/scopes/gun cases.
Did you see that new ACR rifle from Bushmaster yet? (very nice, but pricey) Armalite also has a new modular rifle that is likely over $1500. I saw it on their website.
