I think JD's on the right track but I think it's an intake valve, instead of an exhaust. If one of the intake valves is sticking it's simply a matter of removing the head and valves, reaming the valve guides to the correct spec, and reinstalling everything with a new head gasket. Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
