Mike: Us older rural people can remember using "counter-checks" that didn't even have the name of the bank on it and you had to fill in the banks name. This was common befor computer type bookeeping. Older people tend to feel their checks are above question. You would have been out of line 50-75 years ago in my farming area. Of course thats back then. You need to be detailed in saying what you want....Why didn't you call his bank or a busness owner in his town rather than run him off the possible sale? Oh well, lifes little hangups can be a sore spot. ralph

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
