I cut a bunch of hay Monday and got an inch and a half of rain on it Tuesday night. Last week I had some in the same shape and tedded it best I could with the wheel rake,following the owners manual instructions with limited success. So this morning,I went out about 10 o'clock with the M-C Rotary Scyth,kept it raised up a little,ran 8.5 MPH without the windrow pans on it and just let the hay fly. Got done just past noon. Checked it just after one and it's looking good. Getting rattly on top. I think I can rake it by 2:30 or so. Guess those old things are good for something besides cutting cornstalks.
