Have you checked to see if the nylon bushing is not worn out? (if they still use them) My 95 and 97 had a lock/bushing that connected the peddle to the master cylinder rod, and they would wear out to where it would feel like the clutch was going. A quick look under the dash is worth the hassle of remaning the clutch. I only had to do this a few times and both trucks had 'bout 275K when the disk got worn too far, But that all depends on how it's driven
