I have begun my second cut of hay here in Middle Tennessee and am getting about 50% of the yield I had on the first cut.
We had major flooding here during the first part of May, but have had virtually no rain since then. The daily high temperatures have been in the low/mid/high 90s for more than a month. The expected highs for the rest of this week are near 100 degrees.
It's miserable out there with no relief in sight for the immediate future.
