After getting her back up and running well, we decided that the pasture could use some taming. We've done this in the past, it does a good job of knocking down the tall weeds (some at the far end are in the 4 to 6 foot tall range) as well as killing out the rose bushes, but it leaves the grass somewhat healthy and natural looking, provided you don't over-do it.
Also, it's a lot of fun. This is one of those 16' discs that you can "back up" and set to different cutting depths. Would prefer to use a 6' hydraulic disc, but we weren't really wanting to "cut" the pasture. This doesn't leave any rough surfaces or anything.
