My local CaseIH dealer lost their CNH contract two years ago. They have about a year left of CaseIH parts & then they're done with them completely. CaseIH didn't want to piddle around with a dealership that couldn't/wouldn't expand to include the large end of the equipment spectrum. In my neighborhood, there's no call for gigantic equipment, anymore. If the two local big guys weren't married to Mama Deere, my local CaseIH dealer might have stayed a float, but doubtful.
I would like to add that the dealership is in my family, albiet through my great uncle. I entertain the thought that Uncle Joe just couldn't bear the thought of his dealership of almost 90 years (70 of which he worked), getting dropped by CaseIH & passed. He was up there in years... & the diabetes did get the better of him, but I think that was the last straw. At least he has a greater dealership to look after, now.
